Carbonic acid for your beer set
12-pack Activator mixture (citric acid & potassium bi-carbonate) to add carbonic acid to the Pat's Backcountry Carbonator / soda bottle.
Warning: Keep away from children. Not intended for direct consumption. Do not inhale. Do not get in contact with eyes. Do not use open or damaged packs. Harmful to the environment. Not poisonous.
Unscrew the blue activator chamber on the lid of the soda bottle and set aside. Fill the soda bottle with some drinking water and close it with the main lid. Turn the soda bottle upside down and press the venting lever on the lid 4 to 6 times so that no air escapes (the lid is filled with water, which is later discharged into the activator). Replace the bottle and unscrew the cover. Now fill the bracon concentrate into the soda bottle as desired and top up with clear, cold drinking water up to the 16oz (470ml) mark.
Insert both activator components into the blue mixing chamber of the soda bottle (mixing chamber should be dry so that no premature reaction can be triggered). DO NOT put into the bottle or the drink itself! Make sure that both components are well mixed. The empty pack of the activator can be easily folded and used as a "spoon" for stirring or crushing small lumps. Now screw the blue activator chamber back onto the lid and screw the complete lid onto the soda bottle filled with water and bracon concentrate.
Release the breather lever on the cover and drain the water in the lid with small movements (4-5 times) into the activator chamber. Press the release lever and lock it.
Approx. 2 minutes shake the whole soda bottle upright in horizontal movements. DO NOT turn upside down or "shake".
Leave for about 1 minute. Then release the breather lever on the cover and carefully place it in the 90 degree position to release excess pressure.
Then cover the lid completely and enjoy beer! Bottom up!
IMPORTANT: Do not put more than one activator pack in the lid. Do not drink Braukonzentrat undiluted. Do not place the bottle upside down while shaking.
The soda bottle has no filter function. Use suitable drinking water.
The Pat's Backcountry beer concentrates can be produced not only in the soda bottle offered here, but also at home with standard water jugs or even in ready-made water / soda water.
